WAAR (Wild Atlantic Adventure Race) is Donegal’s ultimate endurance challenge, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Wild Atlantic Way. Taking place annually in the scenic coastal village of Annagry, this thrilling multi-discipline race attracts adventure seekers from across Ireland and beyond.

Competitors take on a demanding 55.5km course, testing their strength and stamina across four exhilarating stages:

Cycle – A scenic yet challenging 42.5km cycle through Donegal’s rugged landscape.
Run – A 10km road and trail run along stunning coastal routes.
Kayak – A 1km kayak challenge on the beautiful waters of Mullaghderg Lake.
Strength Test – A final WAAR-strength challenge to push participants to the finish line.
