PLAN
Bonner & Son Ltd is a family-run business located on the outskirts of Ardara and has been designing and manufacturing knitwear since 1976.
The company produces an extensive range of top-quality knitwear in modern and traditional styles using unique blends of natural and luxury yarns. This heritage continues today with the third generation involved in producing classic and distinctive patterns and designs.
The Bonner Knitwear collection is sold in many of the world’s top fashion houses. In their factory shop on Front Street, the visitor can purchase from a wide selection of Bonner sweaters, pottery, jewellery, throws, crafts, and gifts.
Ardara, a designated Heritage Town, is renowned for its rich history in tweed production, where traditional weaving skills have been passed down through generations. This picturesque village continues to celebrate its textile legacy, making it a hub for authentic Donegal craftsmanship.
